5. Do the course fees include all materials?
Yes, as a rule, all course materials, consumables, and products used in the practical sessions
are included in the course fee. For certain master or equipment courses, additional costs for special products may apply. This is always clearly communicated in the respective course
description.
6. Are there any prerequisites for participating in a course?
Prerequisites depend on the course. For beginner courses, no prior education is often needed.
For medically oriented or advanced courses (e.g., in injectables), completed vocational
training in a medical or cosmetic field may be required. Please check the details in the

8. Is there any funding or financial support available for the courses?
Yes, under certain conditions, funding is possible, for example through the Federal
Employment Agency with an education voucher, via the Bildungsprämie voucher, or
through Upgrading Training Assistance (Aufstiegs-BAföG). We are happy to advise you
on this personally.

In case of illness or other important reasons, cancellation or rebooking is possible according
to our Terms and Conditions. We recommend contacting us immediately in such a case to
find an alternative date.
12. Will I receive a certificate after the course?
Yes, upon successful completion of a course, you will receive a qualified certificate of
participation or completion from the Derma Academy. This certifies the learned content and
competencies and is highly regarded in the industry.
13. Are the qualifications officially state-recognized?
We offer both privately recognized courses and trainings approved according to §4 of the
Berlin Education Act (BiG). Our certificates are well-established within the industry and
